Marketing Assistant

As the Marketing Assistant , Success Looks Like The Following:

We are a start-up company looking to hire a Marketing Assistant who will be working closely with Director of Marketing to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, creating content for the company’s marketing communication vehicles, as well as administrative support to the team. To be chosen for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Director of Marketing and internal teams, on marketing strategy.

  • Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.

  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing. (Including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Social Report, Planonly, Shopify, Squarespace, Optinmonster, etc)

  • Creating marketing materials such as flyers and presentations.

  • Addressing retail partner marketing requests for activations.

  • Maintaining a marketing database.

  • Providing administrative support to Director of Marketing.

  • Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.

  • Writing copy for emails, posts and press releases

  • Understanding company product and brand.

  • General office duties.

  • Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.

  • Organizing market research.

  • Creating and analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.

  • Updating social media accounts.

  • Engaging with customers through social media.

     

    Marketing Assistant Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or related job/internship experience

  • Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

  • .Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Good organization skills.

  • Digital marketing experience including experience with FB Advertising, Instagram, TicTok

  • Competency in Adobe Suite and Canva to design marketing material is a plus

 


Video Content Creator

Part-time

Scottsdale, Arizona United States · Marketing (May become full time role)

Kimes Ranch is seeking a Video Content Creator. Travel involved for events but main location will be the scottsdale office.

The right candidate will be able to produce, write, film, and edit videos for Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, TikTok, YouTube, blog, and commercials with an understanding of e-commerce content marketing.

(A portfolio submission of video work is required. Resume will not be reviewed if creative work is not provided.)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform media related tasks (primarily video content) initiated by the team

  • Produce, write, film, and edit videos.

  • Handle & execute multiple projects initiated by the team

  • Provide organized and timely reports on the status of projects

    SKILLS NEEDED

    • Proficient in camera operation (DSLR & Mirrorless)

    • Proficient in video editing

    • Knows basic scripting and storyboarding

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Multi-task on projects with the ability to prioritize projects

    • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

    • Flexibility to work on different tasks that may arise

    • Photography and photo editing (Adobe Photoshop) skills preferred

Website Developer/ Designer

Our Web Developer/ Designer collaborates with Marketing, Strategy, and Engineering to improve our website and drive user engagement, conversions and more. We value initiative, leadership and original thinking and are eager to see what concepts and ideas you bring to the table and implement.
Responsibilities

  • Research and design concepts for our website and products that are usable, beautiful and marketable

  • Design page layouts and implement designs and interactions for e-commerce and blog websites

  • Apply an in-depth understanding of different personas and audiences to your design process

  • Work collaboratively with our team to create beautiful visual content that complements our brand and marketing strategies

  • Provide guidance and inspiration that will drive a project from ideation to launch

  • Oversee a projects entire creative and implementation process

  • Analyze usability and conversion rate reports to identify new opportunities to improve each visitors website experience

  • Update site for sales, including all page and pricing changes

  • Creation of landing pages, contest intake forms and pop ups

  • Updating of feel, collections and products

  • Troubleshoot reported errors and implement permanent solutions

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve the digital experience for our users

  • Reasoning about APIs and how to best connect them to other business systems

  • Prioritizing, designing and implementing user experience enhancements and fixes and clearly articulating decisions and tradeoffs

     

    Qualifications

  • A highly creative mind and impeccable taste

  • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design work and beautiful comps that communicate large concepts

  • Knowledge of current trends in design and tech

  • Solid understanding of how design impacts user engagement and website conversions

  • Ability to put yourself in the customer?s shoes and come up with ideas that are relevant and enticing

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, browsers, and devices

  • Ability to identify overarching web design issues and opportunities and implement effective solutions

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience creating and editing themes and/or sites for platforms Shopify and Squarespace

  • Ability to write front-end code (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.)


A portfolio of responsive web design work is required for consideration.
