Western Wednesday……Jason Glass Chuckwagon driver/ Stunt Man

The newest member of the Kimes Ranch family has shown us what “Getting Western” really means this week. Jason Glass, a chuckwagon driver who doubles as a stunt man in the offseason, proved that he is one tuff competitor this week running the best aggregate time over 8 days of the Calgary Stampede. “The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth” awarded him the Richard Cosgrave award and a brand new GMC truck for his accomplishment. This was Jason’s fourth time accepting the award the unabashed family man commented, “Anytime you can win any race, let alone the Richard Cosgrave Memorial, it means so much to me and my whole family.” 
Chuckwagon driving is known as a family affair and not only does he travel with his wife and twin boys but Jason has made history as being the only fourth generation driver to win the GMC Rangeland Derby at the Calgary Stampede. Richard Cosgrave was also Jason’s Uncle making this award especially touching.
Chuckwagon racing, if you have not had the pleasure of watching before, is mostly popular in the prairie provinces in Canada. The sport is fast and furious which is why we can see Jason’s affinity to be a stunt man. “I love the sport, I love the horses and I love to compete. It’s what we do. I live and breathe it. ”
